Edward Hopper has long been a profound influence on my work. His fascination with light and shadow—and his love of architecture caught in sunlight—deeply shaped how I see and paint the world. His childhood home in Nyack, New York, now a museum and gallery, has been a place I've dreamed of exhibiting at for many years, though I never quite felt worthy. Thrilled to have my painting Vermillion and Ochre accepted into the 45th Annual Faber Birren National Color Show through the Stamford Art Association and receive a Third Place Award . Juror Madeleine Pierpont who spearheads the Web3 and Emerging Technologies area at MOMA chose 40 artists. Opening reception November 16th, 4-6 pm at the Stamford Art Association Townhouse Gallery.
